Global Moderation Platform (GMP) needed an efficient solution for research agencies to connect with a large network of verified research moderators quickly. They sought a streamlined platform with user-friendly design and functionality to reduce the time and effort spent finding qualified moderators.
The Bubble app got GMP to market. As the platform grew, it needed more than Bubble handled well: room to scale, and more complex features such as scheduling and workflows.
Solution
Phase 1: the first web app, in Bubble
Our team at Minimum Code designed a modern interface in Figma, focusing on usability and simplicity. Using Bubble, we developed GMP’s landing page and app, integrating features that allow users to contact over 500 vetted moderators with just a few clicks. The platform’s core functionality ensures a smooth experience for both agencies and moderators.
Phase 2: migration to Next.js and Supabase
When GMP needed to scale, we moved the app from Bubble to custom code: Next.js and Supabase, hosted on Vercel. The migration took about four weeks. In code, features such as scheduling and workflows are easier to build than they were in Bubble.
Results
The Global Moderation Platform enables research agencies to connect with a talent pool of qualified moderators in minutes, cutting down communication and search time by over 70%. With a streamlined process and access to 500+ verified moderators, GMP has attracted a steady increase in customer acquisition, becoming the go-to resource for efficient, hassle-free moderator hiring in the research industry.
Since the migration, GMP runs on Next.js and Supabase: a stack that scales with the platform and makes room for more complex features such as scheduling and workflows.
